A second letter from Senait in Ethiopia. Senait is one of my two ‘correspondent children’. She doesn’t write very often so I am still getting to know her and her family. I think she is also still getting used to the idea of writing letters to an unknown person far away. I don’t know much about her, but her second letter was already a lot more interesting than the first one! This is what she writes:
How are you? I am fine. I hope you are fine too.
Thank you for your letter. Only a few days left to take the national exam.
I am studying well. Summer is coming in our country and the weather is cold and rainy.
We wear thick clothes. I learn in Sunday school about peer pressure and about friends.
We have to be careful to our decision. When is summer season in your country?
Pray for me to do things carefully and timely. Until we meet in another letter.
